I always dreamed of becoming a professional athlete.  My mother tells me that she always knew what sports season it was based on the type of ball I was carrying at the time.  I love competition, and am inspired by the commitment and dedication that is required to be a professional athlete.  It is inspiring.  I believe that this philosophy, and discipline transcends to the business world.  My entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sports, began at a young age and has continued throughout my life.  

After graduating from LSU with a degree in International Trade & Finance and a successful college baseball career, I began my journey in financial services. Starting briefly at Enterprise Rental Car, I was soon recruited as a stockbroker and worked my way to partner at Van Kasper & Co., later acquired by Wells Fargo. In the early 2000s, I played a key role in restructuring Wells Fargo’s Financial Services, separating Capital Markets and Private Client Groups into Wells Fargo Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. My entrepreneurial drive led me to co-found a boutique investment bank, which was acquired, before transitioning into technology and media. I spent 12 years building social media and commerce platforms, starting with TrueAnthem, which evolved into a machine-learning content marketing platform. Recognizing the potential of digital influence, I founded Sqor in 2011, a sports-focused social platform blending celebrity engagement and commerce.

In 2017, I returned to Jacksonville, Oregon, to care for my aging parents—coming full circle to where my journey began. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of Cutler Investment Group, using my entrepreneurial background to lead Corporate Development for the company.

I love volunteering for various community-based organizations make Jacksonville and all of Southern Oregon a wonderful place to live.  I am a music fan, Ironman athlete, devout husband and father to four boys, heli-skier, small wave surfer, dog lover, philanthropic organizer, and high school baseball coach.
