Born and raised in Chicago, Kipper Wagner developed an early appreciation for great sports (with the exception of football) and firsthand experience with the term "wind chill factor." While he loved Midwest summers, the frigid winters had him looking for a change of scenery—leading him to Biola University in Southern California, where he earned his B.A. in Business from the Crowell School of Business. His mom predicted that if he went to school in California, he’d never move back—and, as moms often are, she was right. 

Today, Kipper calls Orange County home and works out of Cutler’s Newport Beach office. 

Kipper’s career in wealth management began as a personal finance coach, helping individuals navigate budgeting, retirement planning, and investment management. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for financial literacy and client education. In 2024, he earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, deepening his expertise and his ability to deliver personalized, strategic guidance. 

Outside of work, Kipper and his wife—an elementary school intervention specialist—enjoy soaking up beach days, hosting Survivor watch parties, and spending time with their nieces and nephews. A lifelong Olympics enthusiast, he has even planned vacations around visiting Olympic venues and is already counting down to Los Angeles 2028. 

At Cutler, Kipper focuses on serving near-retirees looking to preserve wealth and generate reliable income, as well as advising wealth accumulators on growth strategies and inheritance planning. He believes that money is never just about math—it’s emotional, personal, and tied to what people care about most.
